1. Overview
This policy explains how Circuit (“Circuit”, “the app”, “we”) handles information when you use the iPhone app, its App Clip, and this website. Circuit does not require a developer-operated account and does not sell personal information.
2. Data stored on your device
Circuit stores gameplay information locally, including level progress, best scores, tutorial state, settings, fuse balance and recharge timing, daily challenge progress, and purchase entitlement state.
This information remains on your device unless you enable an Apple service described below. Removing the app may remove local data, subject to Apple backup behavior.
3. Optional iCloud sync
If you enable iCloud sync in Circuit, gameplay progress and preferences are synchronized through Apple CloudKit using your iCloud account. The developer does not receive your Apple ID or operate a separate user account system.
You can disable sync in Circuit settings. Data already stored in iCloud can be managed through your Apple account and device settings.
4. Optional Game Center
If you choose to use Game Center, Apple may process your player identity, achievements, leaderboard scores, and related activity. Circuit submits campaign and timed-mode scores only through Apple’s Game Center services.
5. Rewarded advertising
The full campaign can be completed without payment. Circuit offers optional rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob. If you choose to watch one, Google and its advertising partners may process device information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, advertising interactions, diagnostics, and consent signals to deliver, secure, measure, and limit advertising.
Circuit uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request and store privacy choices where required. Circuit does not currently request Apple App Tracking Transparency permission and does not intentionally access the IDFA.
Your choices determine whether eligible personalized or non-personalized advertising may be shown. You can revisit available consent choices from Circuit settings.
6. Purchases
Circuit Pro purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple provides the app with transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock and restore the purchase.
7. App Clip
The Circuit App Clip does not include advertising. It stores only the information needed for its temporary gameplay experience, subject to Apple’s App Clip and system data handling.
8. Website
This website is hosted using Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare may process limited technical information, such as IP address, security signals, request headers, and access logs, to deliver and protect the site. We do not use first-party analytics, advertising cookies, account registration, or contact forms on this website.
9. Service providers
Circuit relies on third-party services only where needed:
- Apple — iCloud, Game Center, StoreKit, App Store distribution, and system services.
- Google — AdMob rewarded ads and User Messaging Platform.
- Cloudflare — website delivery and security.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Retention and deletion
Local gameplay data is retained while Circuit is installed or until it is reset through app controls. Synced data is retained according to your Apple iCloud settings. Advertising and transaction records are retained by Google and Apple according to their respective policies and legal obligations.
Because Circuit does not operate user accounts or a proprietary backend, we generally do not hold a server-side user profile to delete. For questions or requests, contact us at the address below.
11. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You can withdraw advertising consent through the privacy options in Circuit when that option is required and available.
For requests relating to Apple or Google data, contact the relevant provider directly. For requests relating to Circuit, email privacy@casula.dev.
12. Children
Circuit is a general-audience puzzle game and is not designed to collect personal information directly from children. Parents and guardians should manage children’s device, Apple account, advertising, and purchase settings using Apple’s family and parental controls.
13. Changes
We may update this policy when Circuit’s features, providers, or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest published version.
